I'm Tarun — a Senior Android Engineer with 7+ years of shipping real apps to real people. Currently at Infor in Hyderabad, where I've conducted 50+ engineering interviews and built deep expertise in Kotlin and Jetpack Compose.

In 2026 I crossed into AI Engineering — building a custom ReAct agent from scratch, shipping to production, learning the stuff that actually matters: evals, observability, failure handling. Not just the agent. The whole system.

The journey

2015 – 2018
Batch Topper · Builder · Teacher
BCA at BVC — from average student to batch topper. Won Class Rep elections 3 years in a row. Built a class website (ranked ~30k on Alexa), published 3 research papers, taught Android to 100+ students, founded a CS club. Earned "TechnoMent" — a title created specifically for me, now given annually to the student who teaches others.
2018 – 2021
First job · Startup · Lessons learned
Android developer at Makers Hive for ~3.5 years. Built real products, learned what toxic work environments cost. Left in early 2021. That same year brought personal loss — and ~8 months away from work, which turned out to be necessary.
2022 – Now
Senior Android Engineer @ Infor
Joined Infor as an Android Developer, grew to Senior. Conducted 50+ interviews. Strong in Kotlin, Compose, architecture. Built several internal features and shaped team culture around quality.
2026
Crossing into AI Engineering ✨
Shipped MoneyMind — a full production AI agent — in a single day. Built an AI agent that writes Android UI tests by driving a live device. Studying RAG, evals, LangGraph, hybrid search, observability. The senior signal isn't the agent. It's the 80% that keeps it running in production.
